Welcome to the Springfield Foundation.

 

The Springfield Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status that enhances Springfield Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania through projects and programs to make this township a better place to live.

Coming Events:

1.  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service program - Monday, January 18th @ 11am in the High School Auditorium.  The Foundation is sponsoring the 2nd annual community Community Service Award.  This award will be given out at the Day of Service program featuring the talents of School District of Springfield Township students.

2.  Local Gem Event featuring Caldecott Medal winning children's illustrator David Wiesner - Wednesday, February 3rd @ 7pm in the High School Large Group Instruction room (LGI).  Mr. Wiesner is the award-winning author and illustrator of Flotsam, and many other children's books and will be discussing how he visually tells his stories.  
 

3.  One Book, One Springfield discussion on Steve Harvey's Think Like a Man, Act Like a Lady: What Men Really Think about Love, Relationships, Intimacy and Commitment.  - Wednesday, February 17th @ 7pm in the High School Library.  This will be a light-hearted adult discussion about gender differences and relationships using Steve Harvey's book and his comedy as the starting point for the discussion.
 

4.  TASTE OF SPRINGFIELD - Sunday, April 25th @ 5pm at Flourtown Country Club.  This first annual event will bring the community together to celebrate the culinary delights in our community, while supporting both the Foundation and scholarships for local students graduating from the High Schools in the Township.
