Springfield Community Foundation Announces New Board Members for 2026

The Springfield Community Foundation (SCF) Board of Directors is proud to announce the addition of three new members, Andie Ledenbach, Kathy Kreifels and James Dalton.

Andie Ledenbach
Andie Ledenbach has called Springfield home since 1995. She and her husband, Bob, raised their four children there and now enjoy spending time with their growing family. Ledenbach has a strong passion for community and bringing people together. During her time at Springfield City Hall, she helped create and establish community events on behalf of the city. She looks forward to supporting Springfield’s continued growth and strengthening community connections through her service on the Springfield Community Foundation Board.

Kathy Kreifels
Kathy Kreifels is a graduate of Kearney State College and a retired Springfield Platteview Community Schools teacher. She was also a co-creator of the district’s Outdoor Education program. Kreifels has enjoyed watching former students grow into leaders within the school district and the Springfield community. She and her husband, Mick, raised their three children in Springfield, and six of their 10 grandchildren now call Springfield home. Kreifels enjoys spending time outdoors, quilting, and serving as an active member of St. Joseph’s Church. She is excited to give back to the growing town she has proudly called home for more than 50 years.

James Dalton
James Dalton is the owner and chiropractor at Harvest Chiropractic & Wellness, which he founded in 2017. In 2020, he and his wife, Tracey, expanded the practice by opening a second location in Springfield. A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Dalton has strong local roots, having grown up in Westmont and graduated from Platteview High School. He and his family now call Springfield home, and he is honored to serve the community both through his practice and as a member of the Springfield Community Foundation Board. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, as well as golfing.
